1. Choose food wisely.

Must be a biodegradable food item. No littering!

2. Food must be self-contained.

You need to use food you could pick up with your hand. No scooped globs of food please.

3. Place food on bumper.

Don’t work too hard on this. Just set it and forget it.

4. Drive normally.

No babying your bumpered food. The point of your journey is to get from point A to B as you would if there wasn’t food on your bumper.

Blanco, Texas to Austin. Half an orange.

What is Bumpering?

It’s a sport, it’s an art, it’s a family pastime. Think of bumpering as the new planking, or LeBron-ing. Only Bumpering doesn’t just last a few seconds, it lasts for an entire road trip. Once you’ve committed to a food item and placed it on your bumper for a road trip, you’ll become obsessed. (And emotionally attached to your new bestest lil’  bumpered food friend.)
